Meal Plan Week #3

Ok, Ok.  Another “Be Flexible” lesson learned.  Two meals from last week had to be moved forward.  Since we had an evening out and a Super Bowl Party invite, I have moved the chicken with cream sauce and the lasagna soup to this week.  The grand girls have requested focaccia with the lasagna soup.  I came across a recipe a few weeks ago for a quick yeast bread (peasant bread) to be baked in pyrex bowls. I didn’t have the bowls, but there was an alternative method to make focaccia and the girls loved it.

Monday:  Hamburgers  (the “Ole Buckeye’s request)

Tuesday:  Chicken with Sun Dried Tomato Cream Sauce

Wednesday:  Family Night  Grand Girls’s Request.  Lasagna Soup, Italian Salad, Homemade Bread

Thursday:  Mushroom Meatballs

Friday:  Creamy Mushroom Pasta  Meatless Meal

Saturday:  Roasted Italian Sausage, Peppers and Onions

Sunday:  Shrimp and Grits  

I guess it’s not hard to tell that mushrooms are on sale this week.

Hum…I wonder how many to these will make it to the table.
