Words to Live By

I have a few quotes hanging on my fridge.  Two are from my Mom’s house and one from a friend who died in 1998.  Over time I will share each with you.

Today I share one from Gerry Schooler.  Gerry was a co-worker of mine for a number of years.  Gerry had a condition which was physically very painful to deal with each day in her final few years.  Yet, Gerry did not complain.  She looked at each day as a blessing and enjoyed each moment.

At her funeral, this was an insert in her program.  I think of her and her attitude each time I see it.  I try to live my life in some small way in the beautiful way she exemplified.

Thanks for the lessons, Gerry.  Here’s to a life well lived!
