The menu plan for week 95 isn’t much of a plan since we are embarking on yet another road trip. This time we are off to visit my sister in New Jersey. We plan to do some sightseeing while we are with her as well as relaxing and just being together. We have our fingers crossed for great weather.
I am also looking forward to sharing meals with her. She is the one who initially introduced me to the Trim Healthy Mama eating plan which makes for a much easier visit than with those who are not on plan.
Since I have a busy week both before and after the road trip, the plan is extremely simple. Breakfast is routine.
Lunch takes advantage of a grocery special on chicken sausage links and I always have tuna in the fridge so that it is chilled and ready for creating a salad. The ‘Ole Buckeye makes a sandwich and I make a lettuce wrap. The sausage goes into a low carb wrap with mustard and onion. Easy Breezy.
Dinner for week 95 takes advantage of the grill before we leave and takes advantage of cook once/eat twice meals from the freezer when we return. Our daughter volunteered her lasagna on our return and I have the meatloaf in the freezer.
Obviously my interest lies in our trip and not the week’s menus. Week 95 is more about travel and family than meal plans. I am certain that we will experience a week of good on plan eating, as well as great family times! Bon Appetit!
