Meal Plan Week #8

I am coming off of a week of leftovers and a closed kitchen.  To be perfectly honest, I got a little lazy with the whole evening meal thing.   Now it is time to get back to the routine and plan the week ahead.

I am finding myself attracted to Oriental flavors as I write this post, so I am adding several new recipes to this weeks repertoire.

I also watched a Rachael Ray Segment a few weeks ago and she totally gushed about a new pasta creation and my mouth has been watering ever since.

Corned Beef and Cabbage is a given and the rest of the meals intriguing.

This is an entire week of new main courses.  It will be interesting to say the least.  All are pins on my “Looks Good Enough to Try” and I have incorporated a crockpot meal as well as a meatless meal.  Goal achieved.  Now we will need to wait for the Hits and the Misses.

Monday.  Thai Basil Chicken

Tuesday.  Pasta with Bacon, Chestnuts and Dijon from Rachael Ray

Wednesday.  Rainbow Peanut Noodles

Thursday.  Crockpot Corned Beef and Cabbage  Family Dinner

Friday.  Kung Pao Chicken Zoodles

Saturday.  Lemon, Rosemary, Garlic, Chicken and Potatoes

Sunday.  Pea and Bacon Pasta in Mascarpone Parmesan Sauce

I picked up a corned beef brisket tonight. I’ve never done corned beef before…

Sorry, I’ve had a beer and press post too soon. This is a marinated corned beef ready to cook, comes with seasonings. I’d like to do a corned beef from step 1, but gotta start somewhere…
