    Hits and Misses

Peaches are in season and this recipes is such a treat! I haven’t made it for over a year. I aways use fresh peaches and it is soooo good! Bonus…the house smells amazing when it bakes.

    Upside Down Peach Oatmeal Bake

Oh my gosh…this was delicious! I have had this cookbook for years, but never made this recipe. Big Mistake! I don’t know if we enjoyed it so much because we have been eating very little cheese, or if it was simply THAT good. Luckily there was enough left for an additional dinner. Winner!

    Roasted Green Beans

I made this casserole years ago and decided to bring it back to the table. It feed us for several meals and reheated easily. It was good with a dab of Greek yogurt as well.

    Recap

There were meals that never made an appearance last week. As usual plans changed. When that happens I just move them to the next week. Less ingredients to shop for because they are already on hand. I tend to plan meals without considering the volume. These days dinners last at least 2 evenings as well as an occasional lunch. I do appreciate how that makes for easy days in the kitchen. Bon Appetit!
