2025 Week 39 Menu Plan
The 2025 week 39 menu plan is complete. It has been a super busy week of planning for a weekend family reunion as well as food prep for the weekend in the time share. We will travel to Williamsburg on Thursday afternoon and welcome our family on Friday for 3 days together at the Marriotts Manor Club at Ford’s Colony. Everyone is on their own during the day and we will meet for meals together each evening.
Breakfast
Sausage Egg Crescent Casserole (without the crescent rolls)
Lunch
We are planning one lunch “out” during a break from the Autumn Pilgrimage House Tour which several of us decided to do for the day. We enjoyed an amazing charcuterie board.
Trim Train Taco Soup (Prepped for next week when we return)
Dinner
Dinners were planned for all 16 of us during our time together. My daughter and I opted to plan a meal for the first night together since we were unsure of arrival times. She made her signature beef chili and I prepared white chicken chili and a Mexican kale salad. We served with chips, cheese, sour cream, cilantro, onion, and the “Ole Buckeyes guacamole.
Farro Pilaf with Lemon Vinaigrette
Hits and Misses
More often than not my meals have been hits. I don’t know if it is because I am more selective on the new recipes or if it is pure luck. All of these are rotation worthy!
Thai Coconut Chicken Soup *New Recipe (Tom Kha Gai)
Slow-Roasted Salmon with French Herb Salsa
Apple Cranberry Spinach Salad with Goat Cheese
Recap
I am so looking forward to the weekend ahead and praying for good times together…sharing memories and creating new ones. As always it will be shared together around the table. Life is good. Bon Appetit!
