O-R-E-O
Oreo…Who doesn’t like this cookie? What began in 1912 is just as popular today.
Well….we just tried a limited addition. I say “we” loosely. The ‘Ole Buckeye and I had a taste…Delish. Then the grand girls were introduced to these delectable autumn treats. Well, that was a mistake…the flavor soon became a fond memory for us. The girls devoured them!
In a day and age when almost everything becomes “Pumpkin”, these little cookies are truly a fall treat.
Open the package and the aroma is reminiscent of Starbuck’s Pumpkin Spice Latte—Yum.
The golden oreo cookie is filled with a orange pumpkin flavored cream including hints of ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
I know that each individual has their preference for eating an oreo cookie, many pulling the sides apart and eating the filling separately. Don’t you dare. This cookie is best when eaten all together. The creme flavor is enhanced by the crispy shortbread cookie.
If you are one of those people that think there are entirely too many pumpkin flavored products on the market and have avoided experimenting….don’t miss this one. It is truly Scrumptious! Just ask the grand girls!
