I have lots of recipes for this blog. In fact, my goal since I have relocated to Norfolk and retired from my previous life, is to try one new recipe each day. I must say that this has proven to be unrealistic since many days we tend to have leftovers. I heard a gasp. Yes, we eat leftovers and enjoy them just as much the second time as the first. The trick…don’t use the microwave.
Hum…leftovers…a whole ‘nother blog.
In my quest for new and exciting recipes, I have found several that have become family favorites. Some are from my favorite chefs, others are my own creations. I can’t wait to share the creme de la creme.
I only have one problem….I forget to take pictures. Inevitably, we are finishing a meal and I proclaim the all too often used exclaimation….”I forgot to take a picture”.
I have determined that photography will make or break the interest in a recipe or a blog. Personally if an image does not appear or if it does not look appetizing, I often ignore the post. I am assuming that is the same for most everyone.
So the dilemma…how do I remember to photograph the stages and results of my cooking??? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
