Koozies are a vital part of Texas life.

Okay, BEER is a vital part of Texas life, and koozies keep the beer cold, therefore, KOOZIES are a vital part of Texas life.

In the course of koozies being in grubby ranch-dirtied hands, they get a little grubby (okay, they start getting disgusting). So what I do is throw them all in a sink full of soapy water (dish washing soap), swirling and squeezing them of most of the grime, rubbing them together to help get them clean. Then I toss them in the washing machine for a rinse and spin. Et Voila! Clean koozies!
