I am ready for the week ahead. The grocery shopping is complete and the meal plan is well thought out. I have been hungry for flank steak for several weeks, and the forecast for Monday is warm and clear, conducive for grilling outdoors. An intriguing crockpot recipe calls for flank steak as well. The weekly Costco run provided beautiful flanks, so the meal planning was effortless.
Monday: Grilled Marinated Flank Steak
Tuesday: The ‘Ole Buckeye has a dinner meeting, I will have leftovers after the 11 year old’s first Jr. High Basketball game.
Wednesday/: Family Dinner Roasted Sausage and Peppers
Thursday: Crock Pot Mangolian Beef
Friday: Shrimp and Grits
Saturday: Zoodle Rosa (meatless)
Sunday: Smoke Alarm Pork Roast
The new meals are in bold taken directly from Looks Good Enough to Try on my Pinterest Page. https://www.pinterest.com/carolhood2/looks-good-enough-to-try/ I have also included a meatless meal and a crock pot meal, part of my overall goal each week.
Since my daughter and son-in-law arrive Saturday night, I foresee that the Sunday evening meal plan may change. If it does I will make the Smoke Alarm Pork Roast later in the week for a family meal while they are visiting.
