My daughter and I have had our Instant Pot for a number of months. We really like it and it gets regular use in our household. My sisters each purchased an Instant Pot during a great Black Friday sale so I am going to try to post links to recipes for the Instant Pot to expand our repertoire.
This is a new recipe for our household. Tikki Masala is a favorite of my son-in-law and we have made Tikki Masala from scratch a number of times but I decided to try out the Instant Pot for this version.

This recipe was simple, quick and well received by all (except the over-tired four year old who wouldn’t have tried anything unless the major ingredient was sugar…). Even the son-in-law loved it and he can compare it against many other versions. This will be a repeater in our household.
I want to know more about the Instant Pot! I just had to google what it is, and frankly, I’m shocked that given my short supply of apartment space, I didn’t know about this gadget! Anything that has 7 different functions, can make my meal in half the time, AND has a pressure cooker function that would allow this to qualify as a Christmas and/or birthday gift for Brian is a win in my book!
It would be perfect for you two! I am not sure why I didn’t think of it. We have not used all the functions but the ones we have used have been wonderful.
