Menu Plan Week #28
Whew…where did October go? The month came and went in a flash taking the ‘Ole Buckeye and I all over the country and leaving little time for meal planning, cooking or grocery shopping. November has brought us back to reality. We are attempting to get back into a routine which appears to be not such an easy task since I am late posting this week’s menu plan. With the shopping, cooking and planning well underway, here is the menu plan of the week.
I am attempting to continue my goals:
Trying new recipes.
Making crock pot meals.
Repeating tried and true favorites while tweaking them and making them even better.
Cooking once and eating twice or more.
This plan also includes yet another goal. I am attempting to use more lean meats and fish which this week will include more chicken and turkey. I will be posting the meals that we find most successful.
This Saturday is the Annual East Beach Oyster Roast. The ‘Ole Buckeye enjoys the oysters, while I enjoy the Brunswick Stew. This event is one of the favorite community events of the year. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Last year it was cold, rainy and crowded.
We are well underway on another week of good eating.
