Ready, Set, Go. The menu plan for Week #32 is prepared and boy is it an easy one! Not only do I have several Cook Once/Eat Twice dinners, but I have a new, untried night of eating. I am calling it “The ‘Ole Buckeye Cooks”.
First let me explain. The ‘Ole Buckeye volunteers every Tuesday at the USO. He and the staff prepare lunch for the troops. He comes home and needs to put his feet up because he has been cooking all morning and cleaning up before coming home. He explains to me the many duties he has had as well as the cooking techniques he has learned. How better to show me his newly acquired skills than adopting one evening per week to showcase those skills! With that being said, a night for him to provide a meal has been assigned. I am anxious to see what Thursdays bring as well as how long this little exercise will last. He has the freedom to do whatever he wishes.
All in all, because of his assignment and the left over meals waiting in the refrigerator and freezer, I am having a light week of meal prep. Yahoo!
Let Week #32 begin!
