The 2025 week 15 menu plan is complete. We are spending a few days in Williamsburg at the Marriott Manor Club. The menu plan for the week is relatively simple but I have also spent time researching places to eat in Williamsburg…a few favorites as well as some interesting new places to try. Reservations have been made. We have not decided on our departure time on Friday, nor our return on Sunday, so some meals may change.

Breakfast
I have planned 2 different bakes for breakfast and between the 2 I should have a week’s worth of meals. I also plan to make the sausage biscuits and a BAM cake to take to the time share for easy breakfasts before departing for the daily activities.

LUNCH
I have dinner leftovers that will service one lunch. The soup and salad recipes planned will take care of the remainder of the week.

Dinner
I reverted to 2 meals that I have not made in quite some time for the week. Both will provide cook once/eat again meals which will work perfectly for the way the weekend is planned.

Hits and Misses
I have made this baked oat recipe in the past. If for no other reason…while it is baking the house smells amazing. This is a sweeter oatmeal, but it is very good and services several mornings.

We had enough flank steak left for another meal and I made a great dinner salad with arugula, roasted beats, feta, and pistachios. I served the flank strips on top with a balsamic drizzle. It was excellent.

I routinely prepare salmon and I have a variety of favorite preparations, most of which are very simple to make. This recipe is more complicated, but it was delicious. I made it exactly as instructed and it was perfectly cooked as was the broccoli. This is definitely company worthy as well.

While these hot dogs are definitely not healthy, they are perfect for the “Final Four” basketball games on Saturday. We actually had a game night feast complete with baked beans, coleslaw, and chips and dip. Our team didn’t win, but we enjoyed our feast.

I made a new recipe for coleslaw which was highly touted by a blog I read. It had more veggies than a routine coleslaw and was average overall.

Recap
We didn’t have the healthiest week of eating…much of which was geared to watching the Final Four. The week ahead will be filled with a variety of restaurants. Hopefully we can find great food offerings and enjoy both the experience as well as healthy selections. Looking forward to a fun weekend. Bon Appetite!
