Recap
Chia puddings are so handy when you have early morning plans..healthy and ready.
This salad provided a side for lunches for several days. It was almost like eating comfort food, but more nutritious than most.
The ‘Ole Buckeye love this and the recipe made enough for several meals. I served it on whole wheat English muffins which wasn’t the best option…but really satisfying and enjoyable.
I haven’t made this salad for a long time. I add lots of fresh dill and chopped dill pickles to the recipe. It went perfectly with the pub burgers.
One of our favorite kale salads…I have the original recipe from Dr. Weil’s website but it was fun to discover that Martha shares the recipes as well!
Wow, these meatballs were delicious and the sauce was especially good. This is definitely rotation worthy. I always make a recipe as written the first time but I will attempt to make it more healthy the next go around.
Creamy Spinach Turkey Meatballs
This meatloaf is an old favorite and housed in our “FAMILY” Cookbook. I haven’t made it in years. We enjoyed it, but not as much as the many new recipes I have been experimenting with.
Recap
We splurged on comfort food last week. Isn’t it strange how stress almost requires comfort food. We had pasta and we went out for pizza. I must admit…every single bite was delicious and I now remember why pizza is one of my favorite foods. Isn’t it amazing that food not only nourishes, but also makes us content. The journey continues. Bon Appetit!
