Hits and Misses
The newest attempt at a great veggie burger was a success, even though it entailed a lot of steps. It was definitely worth the time and effort. I did not make the mayo suggested in the recipe, nor did I use any cheese. I served it on an Ezekiel English muffin and it didn’t need additional condiments because it was so flavorful.
This plant based salad is one of our all time favorite salads…period.
Wow! What a delicious pasta. In fact the ‘Ole Buckeye raved…it is his second favorite next to my carbonara…and that says a lot. This will be a summer staple.
Watermelons are on sale…$2.99! Historically I pick a melon that lacks flavor, but this time I lucked out. Thus I went looking for great ways to enjoy it. This salad is so refreshing and delicious. A summer keeper!

Last week had some adjustments creating carry over meals into this menu plan. I am finding more and more recipes provide eat again meals. The week ahead includes several cook once eat twice meals as well. Summer’s bounty is providing lots of fresh fruits and vegetables which we are happy to incorporate into our salads and sides.
