Menu Plan Week 113 with Trim Healthy Mama
The menu plan for week 113 is being written on the fly. We are spending 4 days in Las Vegas at Marriott’s Grand Chateau as part of a Celine Dion Vacation Club Package. We arrived late Monday evening after yet another nerve-racking race to make connecting flights. Much of the trip is preplanned, but we will also enjoy free time to explore our own interests. We are not typical Vegas tourists, but do find a variety of things to enjoy including great eating.
I will not be managing breakfast and lunch menus at this point. During our Vegas stay we will enjoy only one planned private brunch on Thursday morning. We will explore options for breakfasts and lunches dependent on where we are and what we are doing. When we return home on Saturday I hope to utilize a variety of frozen stores for our breakfast and lunch options for the remainder of the week, including giant pancakes, breakfast cookies, zuppa toscanna, etc. I thank my freezer often.
The dinner menu for week 113 is set, partially due to the Vegas adventure, and followed with our daughter’s cooking when we return. As always we are attempting to follow our healthy eating with Trim Healthy Mama guidelines.
So there you have it. Short and sweet. It’s time to enjoy our time in Vegas…away from the computer and enjoying the sights. So here’s to great, healthy eating. Bon Appetit’ and Viva Las Vegas!!!
Oh yes, I would be remiss by not including two very successful recipes from last week. The breakfast casserole is a repeat…just remember to omit the crescent rolls!!! It can be frozen and is a great crowd pleaser for breakfast.
