Meal Plan #18

Well, this will be recipe carryover week.  Because of so many changes last week there were several untried meals.  So without much thought, I am moving them forward.

Monday will be burger night.  The forecasted rain is to subside by evening, so grilling it will be.  We will try the Salsa Verde Burgers.  Sometimes I decide to try a recipe just because when I see the finished product pictured, I am already eating with my eyes!

Tuesday Night is Family Night and I plan to test the Chicken in Creamy Mushroom Sauce with Bacon and Pesto on the entire family.

Wednesday a Sunset Sail is planned.  I will make a turkey divan, which was an old standby dinner when my kids were little. I have not made this in sometime.  I have broccoli that needs to be used and turkey slices frozen, left over from our Derby Party.  We will wing it for dinner, either eating early or when we return home.

Thursday I plan a Grilled Balsamic Steak.

Friday:  Stuffed Peppers  A Tried and True Original recipe that I have formulated over the years.

Saturday:  Zucchini Meatballs  New recipe and Meatless Meal.  We will see if I really have the courage to try this recipe on the ‘Ole Buckeye!

Sunday;  Grilled Ribeye Steaks  This is planned to make up for Saturday’s dinner if it’s not a success!

Here we go.  Another week of planned eating is underway.  It will be interesting once again to see how many adjustments we make.
