So simple. So delicious. Why had I not tried this sooner. About 2 years ago I read about grilling avocados. For dinner that same evening we grilled them to go along with grilled burgers and have been making them ever since. Grilled Avocados – – Avocados (Cut in half), Extra Virgin Olive Oil, fresh lime juice, a hot grill and voila’…Delish. We serve the grilled avocados with a dab of sour cream or Greek yogurt and a small spoonful of salsa. They are a great side with burgers, steaks, and chops.
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half and remove the pits. Brush the avocados with olive oil and squeeze lime juice over each. Place flesh side down on the grill grate once the grill is up to temperature. Grill until heated through and there are grill marks on the surface.
Recipe Notes
We serve the grilled avocados with a dab of sour cream or Greek yogurt and a small spoonful of salsa. They are a great side with burgers, steaks, and chops.
