Meal Plan Week #11

We’re back!!  We arrived home late last night.  The refrigerator is basically empty and the suitcases are full.  You would think that while I had the time, I would take the time to plan ahead.  Nope.  I didn’t give food preparation a second thought.  I was too busy eating out.  Sooooo, I have a lot to do to get back into the swing of things.  After a quick review of the specials at Kroger and consideration of requests by the ‘Ole Buckeye, I am planning the following meals for the week in no significant order.

Leftover South Carolina Pulled Pork and Cole Slaw (the slaw is the only remaining leftover in the refrigerator and the pulled pork is out of the freezer thawing.)

Italian Sausage, Peppers, Onions, and Tomatoes

Chuck Roast in the Crock Pot

Chicken Thighs in Basil Cream

Baked Orange Chicken Meatballs

Zoodle Rosa

Quinoa Enchilada Bake

Brats

Ok, I know, I know.  There are more recipes than days in the week.  Some will be based on how late we eat and others will depend on if the weather allows grilling outside.  Whatever doesn’t happen this week will slide into next.  I will have choices and the ingredients will be on hand.

There is only one meal from “It Looks Good Enough to Try”, but several of the others have become favorites and require an entry onto the recipe posts.  I just need to take pictures!

Ok…off to unpack, wash, and grocery shopping!  Hits and Misses will follow!
