The 2024 week 8 menu plan has taken a convoluted twist. We returned from our month long stay in Florida late Monday evening. As I began formulating the menu plan for the week, we discovered that we had no hot water. After a visit from the repair service and a report that we needed parts that would not be in for several days, I needed to completely reevaluate the meal plan for the week. The goal needed to be meals that required very little prep and even less oil/grease. Luckily I had frozen several small leftover meals prior to our trip. That frozen stash would be the base for the meal plan at the beginning of the week. We also arrived home with a few leftovers from the trip housed in our new Yeti cooler which need to be utilized at once.
Breakfast
The key to mornings is ease of preparation and use of limited utensils.

I am planning dinners that will require as little clean up as possible.

The early part of the week is planned for a lack of hot water. The later part of the plan is based on a return of hot water. Obviously things are subject to change with the status of our water heater. It will an interesting week of adaptation. We are finding numerous way to do necessary tasks. The adventure continues!
